it’s strange, because over the last 2hrs of me planning my course options for next yr and being all confused about what i should take, the first person i thought of to ask for advice was mr berry.

apparently i got a call back about an interview for a job i applied for… on thursday? yeah, thursday. [it’s at the movie theatre. and it’s also the only non-government-office-clerk job i applied for. but hey! free movies!] i don’t know why they called my house since i wrote on my application to call my cell or email. but whatever. at least i’ll be making some money...

to the wondrous research paper that i got 60% on:
i hate you, because now my mark for the course — final mark — is a 79%. meaning i am 1% away from an 80%. meaning i am 1% away from getting a 3.7 in the course versus the 3.3 i got. meaning that my current cGPA is a 3.5 and totally FREAKING OUT my asian side because that’s a high B+/low A-, which is unacceptable.

sometimes i feel so COMPELLED to make a cover of a song, for no reason at all. i’ll just be listening to the song and suddenly need to make a cover of it. [usually an acoustic cover. because i’m not adept enough to program dance synths, and i feel like my voice is most suited for acoustic/blues/jazz kinda stuff anyways.]
but it’s so strange. the ones that turn out decent are...

hopefully some fish start biting. trying to find a summer job back home is hard when i’m not even living remotely close to there right now.

a while back i was talking to a [friend] and i mentioned how canadian weather is weird; the example i gave being how last year in march, i had to wait an hr for the bus to home because of the excessive snow, but a month later in april, we were dying during a third stream practise because it was sweltering hot.
said [friend] did not believe me, and said i must be remembering my own life wrong....
